An Arabian Tent draws on the rich visual language of Middle Eastern majlis and desert encampments – deep jewel tones, flowing drapery, ornate lanterns and low seating arranged for conversation. Each Arabian Tent is handcrafted by our artisans using the same techniques that go into all of our Indian tents – hand-finished fabric panels, carved wooden or metal fittings, and richly patterned interior linings that give the space its character. We pay close attention to the draping, the lighting and the small decorative touches, because in a tent like this the atmosphere is the whole point. The structures themselves are built to be weatherproof and easy to erect, so the look never comes at the cost of practicality.
